Weekend Yoga Retreat with Gayl Long

Two night Yoga retreat at Ashley Court.

Our brains are naturally wired towards negativity for survival. The algorithms of social media, the media, television, u tube, podcasts etc constantly trigger our nervous systems towards anger and fear, distraction and dissatisfaction. To be truly present and content in this world becomes a radical act.

In this retreat, using yoga practices, we will explore the meaning of true contentment – what it is, how it differs from happiness and learn practices to navigate both positive and negative events with calm presence, no matter what life brings.

Our aim is to deepen our body connection using movement, breath and mind to be fully present in the moment and embody contentment.

Above all, it’s an opportunity to rest, refocus and re-energise, to establish, go deeper into and/or extend your practice.
